Service: Plan review

A free Medicare plan review, once a year

Medicare plans change every January. Premiums, copays, drug lists and doctor networks can all shift, and your plan does not have to fit you just because it did last year.

A yearly review checks your current plan against what is out there for next year, before Annual Enrollment closes on December 7.

  • No cost to you
  • Covers doctors and drugs
  • Done before December 7
  • No obligation to switch

Why review every year

Each fall your plan mails an Annual Notice of Change, or ANOC. It lists what changes on January 1. Most people skim it or skip it. That is how a drug gets moved to a higher tier or a doctor leaves the network without anyone noticing until the first bill.

For 2027 there are bigger shifts than usual in Part D, including a higher deductible and a new $2,400 out-of-pocket cap. Read our 2027 changes guide for the details.

What we check

  • Whether every doctor, specialist and hospital you use stays in network.
  • Next year's cost for each of your prescriptions at your pharmacy.
  • Premium, deductible and out-of-pocket limit changes.
  • Extra benefits you count on, like dental or vision.
  • Whether a different plan type would serve you better.

How it works

Next steps are simple. Fill out the short form on this page or reach your local office. A licensed agent calls you, walks through your doctors and drugs, and shows you how your current plan compares. If staying put is your best move, they will tell you that.
